Coleman Cooney, San Diego, Calif., owns "The Bullfighting School" of San Diego, Calif. However, the classes are taught in Tijuana, Mexico at the Rancho Santa Alicia in Tijuana, Mexico. His skills in the bullfighting ring enable others, who have never fought before, get in the ring and fight a bull. His classes are usually two to four students and generally the class lasts all day with travel and instruction. Coleman has been teaching for 6 years. He learned his skills while living in Spain for several years. He is currently teaching his two children, whom are 4 and 7 years old, the basic skills of using the muleta and capote.
